Welcome to YA HAYATI, a matrimonial platform created for Muslims looking for marriage in a respectful, value-driven environment. By using our website, mobile apps, or any YA HAYATI service (we’ll call this the “Platform”), you agree to follow these Terms of Use.

Using YA HAYATI Means You Agree to These Terms. 
 

By accessing or using YA HAYATI, you confirm that: 
 

• You’veread and understood these Terms; 
• You agree to be legally bound by them;
• You are also okay with our\[Privacy Policy].

If you don’t agree with any of these terms, please don’t use the platform. 

 Who Can UseYA HAYATI

To use YA HAYATI, you must: 

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be legally allowed to marry under yourcountry’sor province’s laws; 
• Be genuinely looking for a halal, committed marriage—not dating, friendships, or anything outside Islamic principles;
• Provideaccurateand honest information about yourself. 

We have the right to remove or suspend any account that doesn’t meet these conditions. 

 Creating and Managing Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to: 

• Provide true, complete, and up-to-date information;
• Keep your login details private;
• Be responsible foreverything that happens under your account; 
• Let us know right away ifthere’sany unauthorized use. 

We may refuse or remove accounts at our discretion, especially if someone is misusing the platform or violating our rules. 

Electronic Communications 

• Members agree to receive platform-related communications electronically by email or text. 

• Some messages are necessary to maintain an account  

• Some messages are related to registration, confirmation and follow-up of in person events.  

• Users are responsible for keeping contact details accurate  

• Marketing messages can be opted out of  

• SMS/data rates may apply 

5. How You Should Behave onYA HAYATI

This platform is built on trust, respect, and Islamic values. By using YA HAYATI, you agree that you will not: 

• Pretend to be someone else or provide false information;
• Lie about your marital status or intentions;
• Send spam, harass, or be disrespectful to others;
• Use the platform for business promotion, money-making schemes, or fundraising;
• Share offensive, explicit, or unlawful content.

If we believe you are violating these rules, we may suspend or delete your account without warning. 

6. Your Content

Anything you post (like photos, bios, or messages) remains yours—but you give YA HAYATI permission to use it to operate the platform. For example, to display your profile or connect you with other members. 

Please don’t upload anything you don’t have the rights to share or that could harm others. YA HAYATI is not responsible for the accuracy of what users post. 

7. Subscriptions and Payments

YA HAYATI is being launched as a free service until June 30, 2027.  Some features on YA HAYATI may require a paid plan after this date to ensure this platform continues to serve the community in a financially sustainable manner. You are under no obligation to subscribe to any future paid subscription and may delete your account at anytime.    

If you choose to sign up for any future paid plan, you agree to: 

• Pay the listed fees;
• Allow us to charge your payment method for ongoing billing (if applicable);
• Understand that all payments are final—we do not offer refunds.

Pricing may change in the future. We’ll give reasonable notice if we make changes to our fees or services. 

8. Events Organized byYA HAYATI

From time to time, YA HAYATI may organize offline events or partner with various mosques / organizations (such as mixers, meetups, or seminars), either paid or free. 

Please note: 

• These events are optional and not guaranteed to lead to matches;
• YA HAYATIis not responsible for your safety, interactions, or outcomes at these events; 
• You attend at your own risk.

We recommend that you exercise good judgment and follow appropriate safety precautions at all times. 

9. Ending Your Account

You can close your account at any time. 

We may suspend or terminate your account if: 

• You break any of our Terms;
• You use the platform in a waythat’sharmful to others or to YA HAYATI; 
• You engage in fraud or dishonest behavior.

If your account is terminated, no refunds (if applicable) will be given for any remaining subscription time. 

10.YA HAYATI’s Role and Responsibilities

YA HAYATI is a platform—we help connect people but we don’t control how users interact. We don’t guarantee that: 

• You’llfind a suitable match; 
• Profiles are 100%accurateor honest; 
• Every interaction will be positive or safe.

You are responsible for your own decisions and use of the platform. 

11. Platform Availability

We do our best to keep YA HAYATI up and running smoothly, but we can’t promise: 

• That the service will always be available or free from bugs;
• That everything will work perfectly on your device or browser.

We may update, change, or remove features at any time without prior notice. 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, YA HAYATI is not liable for any: 

• Losses, damages, or emotional distress;
• Problems caused by meeting or communicating with other users;
• Offline events, messages, or interactions that happenas a result ofusing the platform. 

You use YA HAYATI at your own risk.

We take your privacy seriously. For more details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, please read our Privacy Policy. 

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we’ll post the new version on our website and update the “Effective Date” above. 

By continuing to use YA HAYATI after changes are posted, you agree to the updated Terms. 

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes or legal matters must be handled in Ontario under its laws.
